State bags CSI awards

Awards are constituted by CSI, Nihilent Technologies

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Government has bagged five e-Governance awards - 2004 constituted by the Computer Society of India (CSI) and Nihilent Technologies.

The IT and Communications Department Secretary, K. Ratna Prabha, said the Jawahar knowledge centre and student knowledge presented by G. Subba Rao of IT Department won the best e-Governance project in terms of its sustainability. The other awards are: best e-Governance project for cost effectiveness (Chilvuru e-village, Guntur district); runner up in best e-Governance (CM"s Office).
