Training programme from June 5

The A.P. State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and Siemens are jointly conducting a 10-day skill development programme for those who completed engineering or diploma in electrical, mechanical, automobile, civil, industrial, production and manufacturing, marine, mechatronics and metallurgy streams, and are unemployed, from June 5, according to a press release by APSSDC programme manager Ajeesh Chowdary.

He said that the training would be imparted at VVIT Engineering College at Nambur and V.R. Siddhartha Engineering College at Kanur. The disciplines chosen for the training programme are NX designs, advanced simulation solutions, turning numerical control programming, milling numeric control programming, programmable logical controller, basics SCADA, basics induction motors and basics of AC/DC drives.
