Resource persons seek a fair deal

Resource persons of Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) have demanded minimum wages, uniform and identity cards from the government.

The resource persons help self-help groups in the maintenance of records and obtaining bank linkages to them.

AP MEPMA Resource Persons’ Association, affiliated to CITU, led by city secretary P. Mani submitted a memorandum to Municipal Commissioner M. Hari Narayanan.

Association representatives S. Aliveni and P. Leela Kumari, said the resource persons publicise government schemes and also mobilise women for government meetings.
