Phone bill collection from January 17

VISAKHAPATNAM: The mobile cash collection van of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will visit the rural areas of Visakhapatnam Telecom district for collection of bills from January 17 to 30. The online cash counter will work on January 25, 27 and 28 at the telephone exchanges at NTPC near Parawada and Nakkapalli for accepting the bills.

The areas to be covered by the mobile van are Revidi (Jan. 17 forenoon) and Anandapuram (afternoon), Vadachipurupalli (Jan. 18 forenoon) and Lankelapalem (afternoon), Varahapuram/Cheedikada (Jan. 19), D. Yerravaram (Jan. 20), Lothugedda (Jan. 21), Chowduvada (Jan. 23), Kapuluppada/INS Kalinga (Jan. 24), Rambilli (Jan.25 forenoon) and Achyutapuram (afternoon); Sreeramapuram (Jan. 27), Y. Gopalapatnam (Jan. 28) and Vaddadi (Jan. 30).

Power bill payment

The electricity bill collection centre operated by the Vidyuth Employees Cooperative Credit Society Limited will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, though it is a public holiday for Sankranti. Consumers of Seethammadhara, Nakkavanipalem, Maddilapalem, Seethammapeta, Pithapuram Colony, MMTC Colony, N.E. Layout, Balayya Sastry Layout, Sivajipalem, Isukathota, Simhadripuram, Durga Nagar, Venkojipalem, Dondaparthy, Dwarakanagar, Visalakshinagar, Arilova, Isukathota and adjoining areas can avail of the facility.
