MCH employee's body found in nala

HYDERABAD Dec. 26. The body of an employee of the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad was fished out of the Dabeerpura nala on Wednesday morning. The body bore a deep injury on the head reportedly inflicted by a sharp-edged weapon.

Syed Azeemudddin, 50, a resident of Binnisaheb Ka Bungalow was learnt to have given a loan of Rs. 25,000 to his friend, Bhoomaiah of Farhatnagar. He was last seen in his company on Tuesday night. Bhoomaiah and his son, Shankar were reportedly taken into custody. Further investigation is on.

In another case, two persons, including an advocate, who had cheated several students by promising them Intermediate certificates and some unemployed youth jobs in a security agency were arrested by the Punjagutta police on Wednesday. According to police, the accused were, N. Murali Krishna, advocate, and N. Vinod Kumar.
