‘Prema Kavali' release today

Hero Sai Kumar's son Aadi is making his debut in films with ‘Prema Kavali', which is being released all over the State on Friday.

Sai Kumar's father P.J. Sarma, a popular dubbing artiste, film and stage actor, is optimistic that the film would be a hit and help Aadi in making a mark in the industry as a hero.

At a media conference here on Thursday, Mr. Sarma recalled the days when he entered the film industry 56 years ago as a dubbing artiste. The support of film-goers helped him overcome the difficulties he had faced during the early stages.

“I had acted in several stage plays along with J.V. Ramana Murthy, J.V. Somayajulu in those days,” he said, recalling his early days in Vizianagaram.

“When Sai Kumar expressed his desire to become an artiste, I asked him to learn and deliver the dialogues of Duryodhana in ‘Maya Sabha' in a week but to my surprise he did it in two days,” he recalled.

‘Audio a hit'

Mr. Sarma said that the audio of ‘Prema Kavali' was already making waves. The film produced on the banner of Max India Productions, was directed by ace director K. Vijay Bhaskar and produced by Venkat. While Aadi plays the hero, Isha Chawla of Mumbai plays the female lead.

VUDA PRO B. Prabhakara Reddy was present at the media conference.
