Lions Club plans to set up free hospital


KAKINADA: The Lions Club of Kakinada Professional is planning to set up a free hospital enlisting the support of Lions International in Ramanaiahpet area here. The Lions Zone Chairman, Addala Satyanarayana, said at a press conference on Tuesday that a philanthropist had already donated a building worth Rs. 15 lakhs for the purpose. A team of five doctors -- S.D. Janaki Ramaraju (physician), Sridhar (paediatrician), Satya Srinivas (ophthalmologist) and Ushasri (gynaecologist) and Dr. Satyanarayana (dental surgeon) -- have already offered free services.
