Jaipur foot camp

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Krushi Orthopaedic Welfare Society is organising a mega free Jaipur foot camp at Srikakulam from Sunday to March 23.

The camp, to be inaugurated by Minister for Revenue Dharmana Prasada Rao at 9 a.m. on Sunday would be held at the Ambedkar Auditorium beside Kodi Ramamurthy Stadium, according to honorary president of the society N.V.S. Kiran Kumar on Saturday.

The Srikakulam branch of Indian Red Cross Society, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation (New Delhi) and the Bhagvan Mahavir Viklang Sahayatha Samiti (Jaipur) are supporting the camp along with all NGOs of Srikakulam.

The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation is extending financial support and also supplying 300 artificial limbs while the Bhagvan Mahavir Samiti is providing technical support in the shape of staff and sponsoring 200 artificial limbs.
