International school set up

VISAKHAPATNAM: An international school to promote quality education, moral values and latent talent among the students has started functioning in Lawson's Bay Colony.

Named Sri Krishna International School, it is set up by Jeeri Ramana Reddy Educational Society a few days ago to meet the needs of children of IT professionals and others being employed in Pharma City, Apparel Park and other ventures.

"We have started the school as per the last wish of my father late Ramana Reddy. We have all facilities to mould the students into world-class citizens. We are also making efforts to tie up with European institutes", J. Rajulu Reddy, retired Chief Engineer, Indian Railways, told reporters on Saturday.

The school at present has teaching facility from nursery to fifth standard in its AC classrooms. After regular classes, the students will be taught yoga, music, painting and dance.
