Judges and police officials take out rally in Machilipatnam

The group of judges and police officials led by Krishna District Judge Y. Lakshmana Rao on Monday took out a rally urging people to help in curbing human trafficking.

Marking the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons observed on July 30, Mr. Lakshmana Rao has observed that three in every 2,000 persons were being victimised of the human trafficking in the country.

Active participation

Under the aegis of the Krishna District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), the senior judges and Krishna Additional Superintendent of Police S. Sai Krishna have joined the rally from the District Court Complex to Koneru Centre. Hundreds of students and other walks of public life, police personnel have actively participated.
