Four die in separate road accidents

GUNTUR, NOV. 29. Four persons died and one was injured in two separate accidents in Guntur district on Monday.

Three youths -- Vaddeswaram Raja Rao, 22, Mandapati Rattaiah, 23, and V. Rambabu, 24, while returning from a second-show movie in Mangalagiri town on a two-wheeler, dashed against a stationary lorry on the outskirts past midnight. While Rambabu was recovering from injuries at the General Hospital, the other two died on the spot, the Mangalagiri police said.

In another accident near Phirangeepuram, a lorry dashed against a tree at Ameenabad in the early hours of Monday in which two persons in the cabin died on the spot. The driver of the lorry Sheik Mastan Vali, 40, and another driver taking rest Y. Brahmaiah, 35, both from Prakasam district died, the police said.
