Foreign corporate honchos meet Naidu

A delegation of Harvard Square Technology Partners (HSTP), led by its Chairman and CEO Rick Cardin and Managing Director Ajay Parmar, met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu here on Wednesday.

HSTP is a leading technology development company based in California specialising in clean energy, health, agriculture, telecommunications, material science and environment protection. The visiting business delegation told the Chief Minister that they were keen on building a brand city and came to see what the State has to offer to technology players like them.

Mr. Naidu said he would extend full support to the U.S. company’s endeavours and explained the steps taken for development of Visakhapatnam-Chennai and Chennai-Bangalore industrial corridors and their advantages. In a separate interaction with Mr. Naidu, senior executives of two Chinese mobile phone and accessories manufacturing companies Shenzhen Vichy Technology Company and Guangzhou Sang Yuan Company Limited promised to set up their units in Sri Venkateswara Hardware Park at Tirupati in six months.
