Implement heat wave plan: CS to officials

Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi directed officials to implement the action plan already prepared to provide relief to people from heat wave conditions. He told them to issue advisories to people on the intensity of heat wave from time to time and keep ORS and IV fluids and ice packs ready. He wanted them to construct 12,000 water tubs for cattle and 7,000 shed for sheep in addition to existing 10,000 water tubs. He wanted provision of drinking water at all railway stations, bus stations, metro rail stations, malls and places of worship.
