The Fintech Valley Vizag, an initiative of the State government to create a sustainable ecosystem in the city, and Fintech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) have signed an MoU for promoting the fintech of mutual interest.
The MoU was signed by IT Advisor to Chief Minister J.A. Chowdary and FTAHK director Karen Farzam and founding member Syed Musheer Ahmed, in Hong Kong. The MoU envisages mutual contribution to nurturing fintech ecosystem, collaborate in initiatives and support each other in interfacing with their respective market regulators. The event was organised by the DCF Ventures, the partner for the $1 Million Startup Challenge.
FTAHK, an independent not-for-profit organisation representing the fintech community said it would send a team for participation in the Vizag Fintech Festival, scheduled to be held here from October 22 to 26.
