Exemptions for new hotel

HYDERABAD: The Government has relaxed height restrictions and permitted the three-star hotel, now under construction near the Jubilee Hills checkpost by M/s Jubilee Hills Resorts, to be raised to seven floors with basement and stilt. At a meeting on Wednesday, the Cabinet took into cognisance the fact that the hotel was being built under private-public partnership in association with Tourism Department.

The present clearance, however, is subject to statutory clearances from the Fire Services Department and Airports Authority of India.

The Cabinet also allotted a plot of 448 square yards on Road No 2 of Banjara Hills in Bharani Layout to G. Vijayakumari, former MP and wife of G M C Balayogi, former Lok Sabha Speaker.
