Cultural troupes to popularise schemes for tribals

TIRUPATI, MARCH 11. The Information and Public Relations Department is planning to create awareness on Government schemes meant for tribals with the help of cultural troupes.

Apart from street plays, it is planned to employ other similar art forms to spread the message in the ST Colonies of the district, to start with, of the Tirupati revenue division.

According to an official release, the cultural troupes led by P. Rajendran, an artiste, would perform in the ST Colony of R. Mallavaram on March 12, Vedullacheruvu (13), Chaitanyapuram (14) of Renigunta mandal; Ramalingapuram (15) and Batthinaiah Yanadi Colony (16) of Yerpedu mandal; Melachur (17) and Thondamitta (18) of Srikalahasti mandal; Shastri Centre (19), Kanchanapalle (20) and Kannali (21) of Thottambedu mandal; Annamayya Kandriga (22), Thimminaidugunta (23) and Rajulakandriga (24) of KVB Puram mandal.
