KURNOOL Nov. 6. Two persons died after consuming "cheap liquor'' at Brahmanakotkur village in Kurnool district on Wednesday night.
According to reports, two men, both brothers, Pedda Venkata Swamy (58) and Chinna Venkata Swamy (55), consumed liquor bought from a local shop and consumed it along with another brother of theirs, Govindu, who survived.
Govindu found the liquor to be bitter and refused to consume it, while the other two had the liquor. After some time, the two fell ill and died on way to hospital. The police and excise officials visited the place and seized the liquor bottles from the shop, which sold them.
