Book released

There is no alternative to hard work, which is the only secret to success, said Justice U. Durgaprasad Rao of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad.

Mr. Rao released a book, ‘Waves and Worries Won't Stay Forever’, authored by advocate K.S. Vasu at Mahati auditorium here on Sunday and presented the first copy to the author’s father, K.S. Sridhar, also a senior advocate.

Supreme Court advocate M. Dorai Raj, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s honorary director N. Satyanarayana Raju and SVIMS head of medicine A. Mohan received the copies of the book. “By effectively handling subjects like time management, hard work, integrity, cogent communication and team work, the book stands as a source of inspiration to the readers, be they students, professionals or senior citizens,” he observed.

While lauding the serious efforts that had gone into the making of the book, which is a compendium of quotes and inspiring snippets, Mr. Rao suggested that the same be made available in Telugu for better reach. The judge, on several occasions during his talk, quoted from Indian scriptures, especially the Ramayana and the Andhra Maha Bhagavatham, revealing his fondness for Telugu.
