Book fair opened

BHUBANESWAR: The 6th Rajdhani Book Fair-2005 was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Thursday evening. More than 300 stalls have been put up in this 12-day annual fair.

The Chief Minister said that despite computers and Internet affecting the publishing industry books would continue to be crucial for the development of language and literature in the coming days.

The Chief Minister went round a few stalls including the ones put up by the Jagannath Temple Administration of Puri and The Hindu Group of publications.
