BHPV union leaders held

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Gajuwaka police on Monday arrested the general secretary, G. Dhanaraju, and 14 others of the recognised trade union of the BHPV here in connection with the incidents on the factory premises on June 9.

Members of the recognised trade union had allegedly blocked the car of the officiating Managing Director, A.S.C. Sinha, as he was leaving the premises demanding him to solve the pending problems of the sick industry. The police intervened and helped Mr. Sinha leave. Later, the trade union members allegedly caused some damage in the administrative building.
