VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam Postal Region has entered into a tie-up with Sri Seetharamachandra Swamy Devasthana in Bhadrachalam to offer `Bhadradri Rama Navami Package-2006' through post offices in the four north Andhra districts of East Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam.

The Postal Department has made arrangements facilitating devotees, who cannot go to Bhadrachalam personally, to perform puja and obtain prasadam packets from the Devasthanam after Kalyana Mahotsavam of Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy on Sri Rama Navami Day on April 7.

The sale of tickets commenced from Thursday under the package in which a devotee has to buy a ticket for Rs. 50 at the nearest post office or through the postman. In turn, the devotee would get Talambralu or Akshintalu, pearl - Kalyana Mutyam, kumkum, kismis (dry fruit), laminated photo of Lord Sri Sitaramachandra swamy of the size of a visiting card, and sugar crystals, according to a release.

The prasadam would be delivered at the doorstep of the devotees purchasing the tickets, latest by April 13. The package offer is open to devotees up to March 25.
