Plea to shift PCB hearing venueManuel Street Welfare Association (MSWA) has sought shifting of the public hearing venue of State Pollution Control Board from Hyderabad to the city in the interest of financially poor `victims' of environmental pollution in Gnanapuram area. The Task Force Committee of APPCB has called the Visakhapatnam Port Trust to attend the legal hearing on June 17. MSWA and three other organisations, including Meghadripeta Defence Civilian Colony Residents' Association and the Residents of Pragathi Complex Apartments at Bowdara Road, have also been asked to be present.
