Clear sky forecast

Clear sky with the minimum temperature hovering around 12 degrees Celsius has been forecast for Tuesday. The city recorded a maximum temperature of 29.6 degree Celsius and a minimum of 13.7 degrees Celsius on Monday. Relative humidity stood at 31 per cent.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board is celebrating its 15th formation year at the Institution of Engineers here on Tuesday. The Municipal Administration Minister, Koneru Ranga Rao will the chief guest, according to a press release here today.

The Lions Club of Hyderabad will organise its 26th Annual Proficiency Programme on December 4 and 5 at IES Clubs and resorts, behind the Nacharam telephone exchange at Nacharam.

Xmas Bazaar

The Sowers' Charitable Trust, an NGO working for destitute women, orphans and rag-pickers, is conducting a two-day Christmas Bazaar from December 3 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at St. John's School hall, Marredpally.

The Bazaar will showcase handicrafts including embroidered linen, home furnishings, tapestry, rugs and cushions, women's garments, kids' wear, jewellery, greeting cards, Christmas decorations and other items marketed by Christian institutions in South India, according to a press release.


P. Raja Gopal, HOD, cardio thoracic surgery, and K.S. Ratnakar, HOD, Pathology of the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), were felicitated on the eve of their superannuation, at the institute on Monday. They were presented a shawl and a memento by the NIMS Director, D. Prasada Rao, and the Director of Medical Education, Sai Gopal.

A five-day training programme on "Personal Effectiveness of Defence Organisational Excellence" for technical officers of Defence Research & Development Laboratories (DRDL) was inaugurated on Monday at Hotel Golkonda. The programme is being organised by Sister Nivedita College of Professional Studies.

The programme would continue till December 3, a press release said.

Yoga training

Shree Hanuman Vyayamshala and Yoganjali will commence a four-month yoga teacher training certificate course and a two-month yoga instructors' course at Hanuman Vyayamshala Public School, Sultan Bazar, from December 1. Regular yoga therapy classes for women, men and children will begin on December 2. Classes for all the courses will be held in the mornings and evenings.
