At Dolphin's Nose, the maximum temperature was 30.0 degree Celsius and minimum temperature was 21.3 degree Celsius and humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 68 per cent.

Seminar on prison land use

Praja Spandana is conducting a seminar at VJF Press Club in Dabagardens on Saturday on the land use issue concerning the old Central Prison site. According to the president of the voluntary organisation, C.S. Rao, developing a beautiful park at the spot would provide the much-needed lung space in the highly congested and densely populated locality. It has already filed a public interest litigation before the AP High Court on the subject.

FP camp held

As many as 88 family planning operations were performed at the free FP camp organised by National Thermal Power Corporation's Simhadri Project in Parawada on Wednesday, under the supervision of the doctors, S. Chandrasekhar and N. Satyavati Devi.

The NTPC-Simhadri's additional general manager (operations and maintenance), V.K. Reddy, inaugurated the camp.
