Builders' body

A.V.Subba Raju of Lotus Constructions has been elected president of the Builders Association, Vijayawada. Election coordinator Gadde Rajling in a press release said the association members met on Thursday at the Vijayawada Club for the elections. NGO gesture

Spandana, an NGO providing relief to flood victims in Krishna, Guntur and the Godavari districts distributed rice and red gram (kandipappu) to flood victims in the city on Thursday. Spandana MD, Padmaja Reddy, said 1,220 families in Krishna Lanka, Urmillanagar and Ambedkar colony were given 10 kg rice and 1 kg red gram. - Staff Reporter
