No change in temperature

Mainly clear sky with no significant change in temperature has been forecast for Friday. Temperatures recorded on Thursday were a maximum of 35.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 20.5 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity was 49 per cent.

Health camp

A free health camp will be conducted by CDR Hospitals on March 19. It will be held at CDR, Hyderguda, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be 25 per cent discount on all investigations and 15 per cent discount on in-patient services besides special discounts for senior citizens and white cardholders, according to a press release.

Cricket match

Shraddha, a centre for slow learners, Banjara Hills Road No.10, is organising a cricket match on March 18. The principal, D. Sridevi, in a release said some employees of Satyam Computers Services would play a 12-over cricket match. It would be held at the Sports Coaching Foundation near Chacha Nehru Park, Masab Tank.

SBH schemes launched

The State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has introduced two of its schemes -- `Grahak Mitra' and `Drop Box Migration' -- at its Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar branches. The bank said it sponsored utensils to be given to those undergoing family planning operation at camps conducted by the Hyderabad District Medical and Health Office.

Met Day celebrations

The Observatory of the Meteorological Centre, Hyderabad Airport, will be open to the public on March 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of World Meteorological Day celebrations. According to a press release, the activities of Meteorological Department will be explained to visitors with release of meteorological balloons at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. as a special attraction.
