YSR casts vote in Pulivendula

KADAPA: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy flew to Pulivendula and cast his vote in polling station No. 103 at Bakarapuram in Pulivendula town, near his residence, an hour before polling ended on Thursday evening.

The Chief Minister walked into the polling station, examined his voters’ slip and cast his first vote for Kadapa Parliament constituency, from where his son Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy is in fray followed by Pulivendula Assembly segment, represented by him. His wife Vijayalakshmi and son Jaganmohan Reddy exercised their franchise in the Bakarapuram polling station in Pulivendula before noon. Leaders of two other parties – Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu and Praja Rajyam president K. Chiranjeevi had cast their votes in Hyderabad on April 16.
