Water woes: BJP protests in Nalgonda

NALGONDA: Activists owing allegiance to the BJP town unit staged a protest in front of the municipal office here on Friday resenting the alleged irregular drinking water supply and inordinate delay in the completion of underground drainage works in the town.

Addressing the protesters, BJP district president Virelli Chandrasekhar alleged that the residents of the town are receiving drinking water once in three or four days despite availability of adequate water in Panagal reservoir. The residents are facing severe ordeal due to the failure of the agencies concerned to complete the underground drainage works even two years after their commencement, he charged.
