Varsity to launch career counselling centre

In order to make students employable after completion of their PG courses, the Satavahana University is planning to launch a career counselling and guidance centre in the university from this academic year.


Making this announcement during the presentation of marks certificates to the post-graduate first batch students at the University college in Karimnagar town on Thursday, Satavahana University Vice-Chancellor Md Iqbal Ali said that they would impart communication skills and focus on personality development of the students through career guidance centre.

He also called upon the student community to think for high goals such as securing Civil Services etc. He also urged the students to improve their skills further by doing Ph.D.

Later, the Vice-Chancellor presented memorandum of marks certificates to the students of commerce and business management, economics and Urdu. Controller of Examinations V. Srinivas, registrar G .Laxmaiah, principal M Kondal Reddy and others were also present.
