Two women Maoists held

GUNTUR: Guntur police have arrested two women cadres of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) -- Nagella Chandra Kala alias Swarnakka, 24, and Nallakasula Alivelumanga alias Sudha, 38, from Tenali on Sunday. Superintendent of Police Mahesh Chandra Laddha presenting the two Maoists before the mediapersons said the police suspect the two were trying to harbour some Maoists and spread party activities in coastal region of the State with Tenali as base.

On information that Swarnakka, commander of Maoist action team in Mahabubnagar and Bhopal-based central technical committee commander Sudha were residing in Tenali, Guntur police arrested them. The duo would be produced in court. Some soap bombs and electrical detonators from the two.
