Three get lifer for killing man

The 9th Additional District Judge (Kamareddy) G. Udaya Gouri, on Wednesday, awarded life imprisonment to the accused - Kompally Mallaiah, Bandari Kasaiah and Bandari Aadi Reddy for murdering Dondadi Kasiram.

After examining 12 witnesses, the Judge imposed life sentence and penalty of Rs.10,000 on each for murder and 3 years RI and also Rs.2,000 fine for stealing.

Appearing on behalf of the prosecution, Additional Public Prosecutor T. Rajagopal Goud argued that while stealing sheep of Kasiram, they were caught red handed on the outskirts of Seethaipalli in Gandhari mandal on July 31, 2006. They killed Kasiram by strangulating him with a wire and took away his ear rings, wrist watch and an ornament. Acting on the complaint lodged by China Beeraiah, father of the deceased, the police arrested the accused persons. Thye also recovered Kasiram's belongings.
