TDP leaders granted bail

HYDERABAD: Justice P. Swaroop Reddy of the A.P. High Court on Wednesday granted conditional bail to Singireddy Srinivasa Reddy and other Telugu Desam (TDP) leaders accused in the attack on advocates at Indira Park here earlier this month.

The judge was dealing with a petition filed by the accused. They contended that the case was foisted and they had been in jail for the last three weeks. The judge heard the arguments on behalf of the petitioners, public prosecutor and the counsel on behalf of the advocates of Namally criminal court.

The court directed the petitioners to cooperate with the police and be available to the police and submit sureties.
