VISAKHAPATNAM: The last date for submission of acceptance letters by Rajiv Swagruha allottees for Anakapalle has been extended till the end of this month. “A total of 3007 allotment letters have been sent to applicants in Anakapalle for construction of 2,098 flats in five categories. The cost of a single bedroom 525 sft flat has been fixed at Rs.9 lakhs, a two bedroom 760 sft flat at Rs.13.15 lakhs, a two-and-a-half bedroom 1157 sft flat at Rs.20.10 lakhs and a three bedroom 1,490 sft has been fixed at Rs25.09 lakhs and the cost of an Exotic 1,896 flat at Rs.33 lakhs,” according to Project Coordinator of Rajiv Swagruha J. Suresh.

The last date for submission of acceptance letters along with a DD for Rs.25,000 was originally fixed for June 15. It is learnt that the time was extended in view of poor response from applicants. Land for the project has been identified close to the Anakapalle Railway Station.

Meanwhile, the RSCL Board at its meeting early this month had decided to give some sops to the applicants. These sops seem to be targeted at sustaining their interest in the project.

The concessions announced include: a dismal 0.5 to two per cent discount in the cost of the flat based on payment. The ‘highest’ discount of two per cent would be given to those who pay 100 per cent of the cost within three months of allotment.
