Street play against crackers

VIJAYAWADA: A group of students of the Delhi Public School will stage a street play at a few public places in the city on Wednesday and Thursday to spread the message about how environmental pollution was caused by burning of crackers.

The street play has been prepared by the Eco Club of the Delhi Public School as part of communicty education programme called “No Crackers Campaign”.

On Wednesday, the play will be staged at 5.30 a.m. at the railway station; 7 a.m. at new Jain temple, Pulabavi street, One Town; 11 a.m. at Syndicate bank, Labbipet; 7 p.m. at Coffee Day, M.G. road; and 7.30 p.m. at Spencer’s Hyper, M.G. road.

On Thursday, it will be staged at the airport, Gannavaram at 2.30 p.m.; M&M showroom, M.G. road at 5.30 p.m.; NRI college, M.G. road at 6 p.m.; Anjaneya jewellery, M.G. road at 6.30 p.m.; Coffee Day, M.G. road at 7 p.m. and The Gateway Hotel, M.G. road at 7.30 p.m.
