Dalam virtually wiped out, says SP Charu Sinha

CHITTOOR: The Janashakti dalam was virtually wiped out in Chittoor district with the arrest of six members at Jeevakona, 75 km from here, on Saturday, said Charu Sinha, Superintendent of Police.

Addressing a press conference, she said that Narasimha Reddy, Circle Inspector, on information, raided the house of one Thyagaraju Eswar and arrested all the six who had assembled there for a meeting. The arrested were Golla Prasanna Babu alias Raju (29), Thimmasamudram village, Nagula Appalapadu mandal, Prakasam district; Pidugu Prathap alias Naresh alias Sekhar (27), Nelavai village in VN Kandiga mandal, Chittoor district, AOC secretary of Kadapa district; N.Thyagaraju alias Jayachandra alias Eswar (35), Kanthi Nagar, Jeevakona, Tirupati, AOC secretary of 4 districts; Gandhala Munaiah alias Bhaskar alias Suryam (29), AOC secretary of Anantapur and Kurnool districts, Nallamala forest are committee member; Mallepuvvu Suneetha, dalam member, Kanthi dalam, Yerrabadu village, Gonigandla mandal, Kurnool district; and Manchali Harijana Lalappa (67), AP Rythu Coolie Sangam, organising Gonigandla, Kurnool district.
