In all, 1,918 posts have been set aside owing to litigations and they would be filled subject to the court judgments.

School Education Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha announced the schedule at a press conference here. He said the general notification for recruitment would be issued by the School Education Department on Sunday and district Collectors would issue notifications for existing vacancies being filled through DSC-2008.

Age relaxation would be given to all social groups as announced earlier. Accordingly, the upper age limit to appear for the test in open category would be 39 years, 44 years for Scheduled Castes, Tribes and Backward Classes and 49 for the physically-challenged.
