Sanitation continues to be hit


VIZIANAGARAM: Sanitation workers' strike in Salur municipality entered sixth day on Saturday. The workers are demanding salaries that due for the past eight months. Following the strike sanitation in the municipality has deteriorated, posing health hazard. Already a case of diarrhoea from the 15th ward was reported but officials have not confirmed it. Workers on contract too joined regular ones. The situation has come to such a pause due to non-release of grants.
