Rosaiah pays tributes to freedom fighter

ANANTAPUR: Minister for Finance and Legislative Affairs K. Rosaiah on Tuesday paid rich tributes to freedom fighter and social activist Kalluru Radhakrishnaiah, who had passed away recently. Mr. Rosaiah visited late Radhakrishnaiah’sresidence at Kalluru village and garlanded his portrait.

The Minister consoled the freedom fighter’s son K. Ramprasad, daughter-in-law Anuradha and other family members.

He said he had long association with late Radhakrishnaiah. Radhakrishnaiah had donated highly valuable land in Anantapur for girls colleges, where KSR Government Girls’ Junior College and KSN Government Women’s Degree College are located now.

He had also constructed an eye hospital in Kalluru for treatment of poor, Mr. Rosaiah noted.

Radhakrishnaiah had participated in the freedom struggle from Anantapur, the Minister said and suggested Mr. Ramprasad to to uphold the ideals of his father.

Mr. Ramprasad presented a copy of Radhakrishnaiah’s biography, ‘Anushthana Vedanti’, to the Minister.
