Revenue services demand more staff

A.P. Revenue Services Association members took out a protest rally and staged lunch-hour demonstration at Kadapa Collectorate premises on Wednesday demanding implementation of G.O. No. 26 and creation of an additional section with adequate staff in the Collectorates.

Association's district secretary N. Anjaneyulu, divisional president Subramanyam, secretary Sankar and leaders P.Mohammed Ali Khan, Ramana and Uma Maheswar demanded sanction of record assistant posts in tahsildar offices and issue orders to fill vacant posts of driver and attender.

As part of a phased agitation, association members would stage dharna before the Collectorate on August 18.

They would also organise a similar dharna before Chief Commissioner of Land Revenue at Hyderabad on August 26, they said.
