Some parties within grand alliance opposed to separate Telangana: Goud

WARANGAL: Nava Telangana Party (NTP) leader T. Devender Goud once again appealed to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) to reconsider its decision to join the grand alliance as some parties within the alliance were opposed to separate Telangana.

Mr. Goud, who was here to take part in a public meeting jointly organised by Praja Rajyam and NTP, said his party tried its best to bring together all the parties and organisations working for separate Telangana. “We have requested Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao not to join hands with the parties which are opposed to the Telangana issue. We once again appeal to him to work with Telangana parties and organisations,” he said.

Merger ruled out

Mr. Goud ruled out merger of NTP in Praja Rajyam and said they were together as both were working for some common causes. “The Praja Rajyam is working with social justice as agenda and we are working for separate Telangana where all the castes get equal justice. We are like minded in some aspects,” Mr. Goud explained.
