Praja Rajyam slams ‘grand alliance’

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Praja Rajyam president K. Chiranjeevi has described the electoral partners in the ‘grand alliance’ as those trying to ride a ‘wooden-rocking horse.’

All their political manoeuvres would give them no mileage at all, he told presspersons on Sunday morning, before leaving on a four-day tour of Nizamabad district.

He said his party was open and firm in its offer of friendship from the beginning of its talks with the Telengana Rashtriya Samiti.

But, TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao joined hands with the TDP and the Left in an alliance comprising parties which could not be termed ‘like-minded,’ the actor said.
