Minister launches water scheme

NIZAMABAD: Minister for Medical Education P. Sudarshan Reddy on Wednesday inaugurated the Comprehensive Protected Water Scheme (CPWS) undertaken with an expenditure of Rs.7.50 crore at Chinnamavandi village in Bodhan mandal.

Fluoride menace

Addressing a public meeting on the occasion, the Minister said the scheme would provide safe drinking water to about 24,000 people in 15 fluoride affected villages.

The Minister appealed to the people to make use of this scheme and protect themselves from the fluoride menace.

Suggesting to the residents not to waste the ground water and use it judiciously if they wanted to be happy with bountiful of crops and dairy, he asked the authorities to complete the Karegam CPWS as early as possible.
