Officials asked to implement financial scheme in Karimnagar

Bulk-cooling units to be set up in 10 mandals, says CEOSHGs to get Rs. 35,000 as loan under micro-finance plan

KADAPA: CEO of Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) Vijaya Kumar on Saturday called upon bankers to grant loans liberally to women self-help groups. Addressing a meeting of officers and bankers in the DRDA project director's chamber here, he asked officials to implement Financial Inclusion Scheme on experimental basis in Karimnagar district. Grant of fresh loans to women SHGs was below par and bankers should grant more loans to achieve targets, he said.
