Kodela visits party office

GUNTUR: Festive atmosphere prevailed at Guntur district Telugu Desam Party office on Saturday in Arundelpet here with five former ministers attending a meeting organised by the party district president Prattipati Pulla Rao.

Former Minister for Health Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, who had stopped entering the party office after differences with the party president during a meeting more than four months, ago stepped into the building and there was a prolonged meeting on modalities to begin agitation on Coastal Corridor land acquisition. The meeting attended by party MLA Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar, former ministers Sennakayala Aruna, JR. Pushparaj, Alapati Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Siva Prasada Rao, and Makineni Pedarathaiah decided to submit a memorandum to the District Collector on land acquisition on Monday and visit the Nizampatnam mandal headquarters, where the locals have been agitating for the past one month.
