Hospital ‘ill-treated’ party MLA: CPI

HYDERABAD: K. Narayana, State CPI secretary, on Sunday demanded action against the management of Seven Hills Hospital, Visakhapatnam, for collecting Rs.10,000 from party legislator G. Demudu for the treatment of malaria and jaundice, even after being told that the bill would be reimbursed by the Government.

In a representation to Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Sunday , he said the Chintapalli MLA had to pay Rs.60,000 as bill. His ailment became serious after leaving the hospital.- Special Correspondent
