History-sheeter creates flutter in police station

GUNTUR: Barely a day after a farmer died under suspicious circumstances at Bapatla rural police station, a history-sheeter kept in custody at Sattenapalli police station created a flutter when he allegedly smashed a tube light in his hands causing bleeding injuries. The police immediately rushed him to a hospital, where he was treated . According to Sattenapalli DSP M. Rajendra, the accused Nalli Ramulu was handed over to the Town police station on Tuesday by villagers after he had allegedly been creating public nuisance.

He was arrested earlier and served four months prison sentence, but had reportedly gone back to his old ways after being released.
