HYDERABAD: The Minister for Higher Education D. Srinivas asked the Intermediate Education Department to prepare a comprehensive e-learning programme so that the vital gaps of institutional instruction could be filled up. Reviewing the performance of Intermediate Education on Friday, he said the gaps could be plugged by providing computers, DVD players, television sets and compact discs related to various subjects.
He also emphasised the need to formulate suitable proposals for Government Junior colleges on the lines of Jawahar Knowledge Centres of degree colleges. He asked the officials to strengthen the well performing aided colleges considering that most of the lecturers in those colleges would retire in two-three years. He appreciated the officials for ensuring healthy pass percentage in Government colleges.
