Doctor faulted for boy’s death

A seven-year-old boy, K. Madhu, died allegedly due to a doctor’s negligence at Mallapur in Nacharam on Saturday. The boy, who was suffering from fever, was taken by his family members to a nearby clinic where a doctor administered an injection to him. The child became unconscious and died while being shifted to another hospital. Madhu was a class I student of Mother Theresa School in Mallapur.

Stabbed to death

A businessman, E. Laxman Goud (40), was stabbed to death reportedly by his relatives at Bhagat Singh Nagar in Neredmet on Friday night. The police said Laxman and his relatives -- Mastan and Adinarayana -- entered into a heated argument over a trivial issue. In a fit of rage, the duo attacked Laxman with a knife leading to serious injuries. He was declared brought dead to Gandhi hospital.

Killed in accident

A 25-year-old man died after his motorcycle was hit by a lorry at Miyapur bus stop on Saturday. N. Rambabu, a labourer and resident of Rayallapally village in Ranga Reddy district, was returning home, the police said.
