Chiru likely to visit Tirupati in a day or two

TIRUPATI: Praja Rajyam founder Chiranjeevi, the MLA-elect of Tirupati, is expected to land in the temple city either on Thursday or Friday. Since it would be his first visit to his constituency after his election from the prestigious seat, the visit has generated a lot of excitement.

Though rumours are rife over his maiden visit to his constituency, there is the usual shroud over the details of his programme with none among his camp managers here being able to confirm the programme.

Meanwhile, the party leaders are frantically searching for a suitable office-cum-residential accommodation for Chiranjeevi in Tirupati. Sources said that the actor-turned-politician is toying with the idea of visiting his constituency once every month while an office secretary is to be stationed here to coordinate with him in his absence.

Even as some in his camp assert that a bungalow has already been identified in Khadi Colony, others insist that it is in Padmavathi Puram area, on the way to Tiruchanur.
