Demolition of sheds belonging to Secunderabad court complex leads to filing of cases

HYDERABAD: Cases and counter cases were registered against an advocate and three labourers in connection with alleged demolition of sheds belonging to Secunderabad court complex and the compound wall of the Defence Estate Officer’s office. Both, the court complex and the DEO’s office, are located on adjacent lands.

A magistrate of the city civil court, Secunderabad, Mutyam Naidu, filed a complaint with the Marredpally police stating that some sheds located on the land of the court complex were demolished by three labourers. Meanwhile, the DEO approached the police alleging that three advocates trespassed into the open land of his office and demolished the compound wall under construction. Cases were registered under sections 447 (trespass) and 427 (damaging property) of the IPC SI K. Srinivasa Rao said.
